"Sleeping Beauty", live ballet screening
This production of Sleeping Beauty has delighted the public of Covent Garden since 1946. A Russian ballet classic that crowned the Royal Ballet in its new headquarters, after World War II, as a great company worldwide. Sixty years later, in 2006, the original staging has been rescued, returning to the magnificent designs of Oliver Messel and the dazzling costumes.
The great score of Pyotr Il "Yich Tchaikovski and the original choreography of Marius Petipa combine perfectly with the variations created for The Royal Ballet by Frederick Ashton, Anthony Dowell and Christopher Wheeldon.
A ballet that enchants everyone who sees it.
In Cinesa and UCC Peñacastillo, at 20:15.
