The tall tugboat 'Mahón' stops in Santander for the Festival del Mar


The tugboat 'Mahón' (A-51), which is carrying out Surveillance and Maritime Safety work in the waters of the Cantabrian and peninsular northwest coast between September 9 and 18, plans to make a stopover in the port of Santander next days 13 to 15, coinciding with the III Festival del Mar.

During its stay in port, docked at the Block Dock (between the Botín Center and the Maritime Station), the ship will participate in different activities scheduled for the festival, the Naval Command of Santander reported in a press release.

Thus, on Saturday 14, he will participate in the commemoration events of the 120th anniversary of the Cueto Signal Traffic Light and, in the afternoon, the ship will open its doors to the public from 16 to 20 hours. And on Sunday 15, in the morning, he will participate in the Candle Stop, coinciding with his departure to the sea.
