The Quasar Theater company represents "Once upon a time a piece of wood" , a chamber opera performed by actress Mónica González Megolla and clarinetist Andrés Pueyo López. This is a recital concert that is staged for the first time in Spain and is based on "The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Carlo Collodi, written in the nineteenth century.

The original score was created by the composer Simone Fontanelli , considered one of the most interesting and authentic contemporary musical personalities. In addition to composing, he is the founder and conductor of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Salzburg, has participated in various music festivals in Europe, Asia and North America and is a professor in different music schools.

Quasar Theater was created in 2007. In addition to creating and producing shows for adults and children, it collaborates in teaching projects and recreates pieces for nonspecific spaces.

Mónica González Megolla , creator of Quasar Teatro, is the director and actress of this show in which she shares the stage with clarinetist Andrés Pueyo López . Performing arts professional for more than 20 years, she creates, interprets and directs shows aimed at children and adults, and is the author of nine of the fifteen shows created for the Quasar Theater company. He has also worked in public and private theaters throughout the Spanish geography, and in national and international shows and festivals.

Andrés Pueyo López has collaborated throughout his career with various groups such as the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Municipal Band of Santander, the Music Band of Oviedo, the Young Orchestra of Andalusia, the Young Symphony Orchestra of Cantabria etc., acting under the baton of directors as Juanjo Mena, Stefan Blunier, Ilan Volkov, Jaime Martín, etc. It is worth mentioning its participation in important festivals such as the "Wallonie Festival", the "Musiq´3 Festival" or the Santander International Festival. He is a founding member of the Instrumental Ensemble of Cantabria (EINSEIC), with whom he performs an intense work as a chamber musician. He currently works as a Clarinet Professor in the Municipal Music Band of Santander and is Director of the Valle de Tena Musical Campus.
