Commented visit to the exhibition "25 years of Itineraries" with Nuria Herrera
The 25-year Itineraries exhibition, curated by Benjamin Weil, is the third presentation of the Botín Foundation collection at the Botín Center. On this occasion, commemorating the XXV years of Itineraries, an exhibition that annually makes known the projects of artists who enjoy the scholarship, brings together exclusive works by artists who have been fellows of the institution.
With this experience the center seeks to create a beautiful walk through the reflections of these artists and the themes that have been the generating point of their projects and will be our conversations and poems. Those that will emerge thanks to Nuria Herrera .
Nuria Herrera is a poet and has been investigating the artistic dialogue between poetry and other arts for more than 13 years, exploring new ways of providing poetry to the world from unusual places. Therefore, it belongs to the Momento Verso collective whose objective is to bring poetry to the city. He premiered his first show of poetic fusion with other arts in 2007 and since then he has not stopped investigating between the scenic event and the poetic word in different shows in which he dramatizes, image and sound, music, as a support for the communication of the poetic word. Within the same field he directs different festivals and programs such as Mistycalle, Poetry Festival of Ávila and Soul Libre, whose essence is based on this exploration.
